I’m the Lord of the Universe
the destructor of cosmos
the nurturer of Prakriti
the cue to salvation

I am not controlling the tides
to prevent your soul
from drowning,
or to fill life
in your breathless lungs.
I’m more of a lighthouse
than a lifeboat
And I have a purpose to honour –
to guide you
to the shore.

I’m amorphous,
yet I must take forms
whenever you need me.
And I’ll keep coming
for you –
in all yugas
in all forms
as energy
or material
or mortal;
just to leave all of it behind again,
for I have to keep
the chakras of all Universes
going on and on
synchronously, eternally.
